What is the difference between Photographic and Fine Art Canvas?

We offer both Photographic Canvas and Fine Art Canvas.

Photographic Canvas Prints are made from a silver halide photographic print that is bonded to canvas using heat and pressure. Options include Lustre, Glossy, or Metallic papers, and optional Lustre or Glossy protective coating. The final print has a subtle canvas texture. Photographic Canvas can be mounted as a Canvas Board, Canvas Stretch, or 1½" Canvas Gallery Wrap. The largest size for a Canvas Board & Canvas Stretch is 30x40", but only 24x36" for a Gallery Wrap.

Fine Art Canvas prints are printed directly onto high quality canvas material, so the texture of the material adds depth to the image. The material is then finished with a Lustre or Glossy lamination for protection. You can choose unmounted Loose Canvas, or mounted Canvas Board or Canvas Gallery Wraps with your choice of three depths and a variety of border options. The largest overall size for a Canvas Board, Canvas Stretch, and Gallery Wrap that we can produce is 40x60".
