Current Sports & Events Plus Users
STEP 1: Backup & remove old version of SEP (Sports & Events Plus)
- BEFORE installing the new version of Sports & Events Plus, you will need to uninstall any previous versions you have installed on your computer. In addition, be sure that you are not in the middle of working on an order.
- Close out of any existing version of Sports & Events Plus.
- In your Windows Start menu, go to Settings>Apps, click the ellipses and then click Uninstall to remove the previous version of SEP.
- Uninstalling the previous version will not erase your old data.
- If you would like to keep a safe copy of your data, navigate to:
- C:\Users\your_username\SportsEventsPlus\System
- Backup the following files(s):
- sepmaster.h2.db
- sepmaster2.db
- You may see one, or both of these files, depending on the current installed version of Sports & Events Plus.
- When opening the new version of Sports & Events Plus for the first time, you may notice a longer initialization & load time. This is the software converting your old data to the new database format. This may take up to 5 minutes, and it is very important that you DO NOT CLOSE Sports & Events Plus during this process, otherwise data loss or corruption could occur.

STEP 2: Download new version of SEP (Sports & Events Plus)- Download the latest version of Sports & Events Plus for 64-bit Windows here: https://dl.bayphoto.com/installers/SportsEventsPlus-1.5.15.exe
STEP 3: Installing SEP
- Once downloaded, click on the SportsEventsPlus-1.5.14.exe file in your Downloads folder to begin installation.
- If running Windows 10 or Windows 11, you will probably receive the following warning:
To continue installation, click on the More Info link in the dialog box.
On the following dialog box, click the Run anyway button to proceed.
- Once completed, the installation box will close, and a Sports & Events Plus icon will be displayed on your Windows desktop.
